This is a margin comment on: Bosworth/Toller, page b1008, entry 4
"tótece" looks like "lótece". I suspect it may be intended to be "fótece," which is cited from Lchdm. ii. 68, 12, as opposed to 13 for this cite.
For "siege" read "slege"
For "Homl. Th. i. 86, ll" read "Homl. Th. i. 86, 11"
