Ondrej: thanks for the comments. Making the LaTeX conversion automatically is still very problematic, due to the large number of errors which remain in the source file. I find I have to put in lots of kludges to fix errors, but this is really a waste of time as when the errors are fixed, the kludges are not needed any more.
I wonder if you could fix these things, which would enable me to proceed:
1. A few headwords are missing the closing . This causes problems as I use the bold tags to recognize headwords. Sorry, I don't have a list, but if it would help I'll try to make one.
2. In one place there is >B> for .
3. Around d0391, the convention that each dictionary entry is one long line breaks down. The entries are split into many lines. This is impossible for my program to handle.
